The AMG Model
One Team. One System. Every Movement Accountable.
One Team
Trained operators and qualified riggers assigned to your project, working under AMG supervision to a single set of standards.
One System
All movement requests route through AMG dispatch. Priorities are managed at the project level, not negotiated trade by trade.
Every Movement Accountable
Each request becomes a ticket with a requester, a destination, an assigned team, and a completion time.
The Problem
Your Skilled Labor Should Be Installing — Not Moving Material.
Electricians should be installing electrical systems. Pipefitters should be installing piping. Mechanical crews should be installing mechanical systems. Foremen should be managing production.
They should not be spending labor hours searching for forklifts, locating operators, coordinating deliveries, moving gang boxes, relocating pallets, or figuring out how to get material from one part of a project to another.
- Foremen searching for available equipment
- Skilled trades operating forklifts instead of performing their primary work
- Unplanned equipment movements
- Operators working without dedicated spotters
- Congestion around laydown areas
- Equipment sitting idle
- Multiple subcontractors renting duplicate equipment
- Poor coordination between deliveries and installation
- Untracked material movements
- Increased exposure to struck-by and line-of-fire hazards
AMG turns material handling from an interruption into an organized project operation.
How AMG Works
Five steps. One record for every movement.
- 01
Submit
A foreman or superintendent submits a material movement request through the project's designated platform.
- 02
Dispatch
The AMG dispatch lead receives the request and assigns it to the appropriate operator and rigger team.
- 03
Plan
Before movement begins, the operator and certified rigger verify the load, destination, path of travel, access conditions, and surrounding work activities.
- 04
Move
The AMG team executes the movement while maintaining control of the travel path and material-handling operation.
- 05
Close
Once the material reaches its destination, the movement ticket is completed and closed. Every movement creates a record.
Operating Philosophy
Two Professionals. One Controlled Movement.
- Path-of-travel verification
- Load assessment
- Pedestrian control
- Blind spots
- Clearances
- Communication with the operator
- Material positioning
- Rigging within qualifications
- Awareness of surrounding operations
The goal is a higher standard than simply placing a basic spotter beside a piece of equipment. The rigger is a qualified member of the movement crew with defined responsibilities.
